Birmingham, Alabama is rich in history. The Birmingham Net has many links to things to see and do, below are some of our favorites:

• Birmingham Civil Rights Institute - One of the nations most significant institutes. It captures the spirit and courage of countless individuals who, during the 1950's and 60's, dared to confront the bigotry and racial discrimination of the American society.
• Alabama Jazz Hall of Fame - The museum honors great jazz artists with ties to the state of Alabama.
• Alabama Sports Hall of Fame and Museum - The museum is dedicated to preserving and honoring this states sport heritage.
